We relished the semi-cooler nights (less humid at least!), got a glimpse of the lunar eclipse and enjoyed catching up with friends new and old.

This Wednesday Wine Tasting is "Boating around" Greece & Cyprus Tasting, Sept 2, with Alex from Athenee Imports. We are excited to work with a new (to us) importer who focuses on family estates with conscientious farming practices - and best of all - the wines are delicious and can send you to that Mediterranean Sea. Please join us.

Hosting a new importer is always exciting. This week please come join us for a first exploration of the portfolio of Athenee Importer. Their mission is to represent family estate wines from Greece and Cyprus who focus on biodynamic, organic, and sustainable farming practices and lower intervention in the cellar. Alex will be on site to pour these gems and talk us through the wines.

Guess what? Our neighbors, Bobby Boy Bakeshop, have opened their new fine dining restaurant at their Poplar location. This is a great time to welcome back the bar bites you enjoyed with us and explore their exciting beverage program. Chef Bobby has assembled a great team in the kitchen and hired GM Ian McPherson to lead the service team and craft a unique and exciting wine and beverage program. We've already been several times and strongly recommend adding it to your list as well.
