Hello from the Caviste:
We are smack-dab in the middle of Spring and we hope you've had a wonderful Easter weekend. Lots of events coming your way before summer hits, including, fresh wine arrivals blooming on our shelves!
First off, we have our first of a series of casual Rosé Tasting, Tuesday, April 22, 5-7 drop in. If you've been in recently, you may have noticed our growing tidal wave of rosés. We want to share the pink with you, and dispel any of those preconceived notions that rosés are sweet. These are all DRY, they come from small producers, and are stellar for all occasions.
The week keeps going. Symphony-by-the-Glass is Thursday, April 24, 5-6:30 drop in, with live music from your symphony musicians, along with a special preview chat at 6pm. We will have a specially-themed by-the-glass menu. This time, it's Verdi's Requiem, and in honor of his birth country and dramatic themes of the magnificent piece, we will pour all Italians.
Keep scrolling for our upcoming events, including that Piemontese Winemakers' dinner night April 30 (seats are filling up).
And lastly, some of you may know that we are saying good-bye to Nathan and Ray, and are now looking to hire a part-time retail/bar assistant. We've been fortunate to have worked with some of the most talented folks, but are also excited for their future as they move to other parts of the country and take on new adventures. If you know of anyone who may be interested in working with us, please send them our way.
We hope you have a great week!
Cheers
