January newsletter

Hello from the Caviste:

We hope you are all staying warm during this arctic chill of a week. We have been happy to see many familiar faces after our winter break and hope that your year is off to a great start. We are planning for these next coming months but for now, come to our symphony by the glass this Thursday, Jan 23, 5-6:30, for some live music, as a teaser for the upcoming re-scheduled concert featuring Mark and Maggie O'Connor for the "Beyond the Blue Ridge" themed music.

We also hope you are re-connecting with your friends/family and taking care of yourselves. Recently, we were thoroughly grateful for Eric Asimov's balanced article on why we still drink wine. It is not a lecture, but rather, a conversation, amongst, hopefully, old and new friends and a supportive community.

Symphony By the Glass

Thursday, Jan 23, 5-6:30 pm drop in
live music from symphony musicians
6pm preview chat from Director Michelle Merrill
Come relax and listen to some live music from our symphony musicians, listen to Michelle's preview chat for the upcoming concert, and find out what fun pairings we chose for the evening (think rugged landscapes, cowboy-esque terroir). Stay for bar snacks (starts at 5:30).

And then go see the concert! Tickets can be found here: Winston-Salem Symphony
