We hope you all are staying cool during these summer days - we are piling up the stack of books to read this summer.
One of our favorite detective series is Martin Walker's Bruno, Chief of Police series. The mysteries take place in the south of France, where murder and intrigue seem to constantly interrupt Bruno, a policeman, and his idyllic rural countryside life. Bruno is also an avid lover of all food and wine, and interspersed in the pages are fun references to either a classic French dish he is making, or a glass of wine he is enjoying.
