German/Austrian Tasting || Greek Taverna Buffet Style April 16
Symphony-By-The-Glass
Hello from the Caviste:

We love all the foliage leaf-ing out after the rain. It's a great time to explore outdoors (armed with a Zyrtec allergy pill and a neti pot rinse after). If your sinuses protest regardless, you can also explore indoors in our wine shop - we have re-stocked and started shoring up inventory in order to absorb some of the tariffs shockwaves. Come take a look at our retail inventory for some returning favorites and pleasant surprises.

Events are bursting at the seams. German/Austrian wine tasting, poured by your Caviste team (perhaps a Russ-sighting, too!), this Tuesday, April 15, 5-7 drop in.

Greek Taverna night, is the following day, Wednesday, April 16, seatings at 6pm, 6:15pm, and 6:30pm.  Peter Bedrosian reaches into his Greek heritage to pull out some fantastic dishes. We will pour small-producer Greek wines - they are perfect Mediterranean wines that pair well with the flavors. Scroll below for wines and menu.

We hope you have a great week!

Cheers

Germany & Austria
with the Caviste Team
Tuesday, April 15, 5-7 drop in

$5 tasting fee, waived with feature bottle purchase

Part of our origin story is that Russ learned to drink wine in Germany and fell in love with how Europeans lived their lives around the table and glass of wine. We are showcasing some stunners and fun pours, a reflection of the next generation of winemakers from those regions.  Come in for a taste, stay for a glass.

Selbach-Oster, Weisburgunder Trocken | Pinot Blanc | Mosel, Germany
from rocky steep slate soil, aromatic, plush, with a touch of bracing lift $24

Bernard Ott, Am Berg | Grüner Veltliner | Wagram, Austria
all stainless steel, melon, stony, baby peaches, an enchanting grüner that stays with you long after the last sip $28

Strub, Spatburgunder | Pinot Noir | Rheinhessen, Germany
stainless steel, fresh, our version of a spring-time pinot noir $25

Fio, Piu Piu Pet-Nat Rosé | Pinot Noir | Mosel, Germany
a collaboration between two families, one from the Kettern family in Mosel, and Niepoort from Portugal, their intelligent endeavor to make all natural wines, fresh fruit, soft bubbles, some hoppiness that will please even the beer-drinker $36
