Featured Wines - Minet Pouilly Fumé & Château Jouclary || Tons of Upcoming Events

Hello from the Caviste -

Looking forward to Fall, we have some new wines in just right as you start a new season with school, Fall calendars, and cooling temps. A refreshingly rich Pouilly Fumé (neighbor to Sancerre) perfect for an end-of-day glass. Further, we enjoy offering wines from wine regions being rediscovered by the wine world; such as Southern France's Cabardés, offering a Languedoc red with an unusual blend at a great value.

And hold on to your hats, September offers an event each week to come share a glass with friends, new and old. Scroll down for details.

** Weekend Food Specials **
This weekend the kitchen is offering some Thai inspired specials; a pork red curry, eggplant and spicy green mango salad and duck wings.  We're offering a delicious German Scheurebe to pair with these aromatic dishes.
Régis Minet
Pouilly Fumé (Loire)

A Sancerre-adjacent white — clean, precise Sauvignon Blanc with full-mouth richness in the mid-palate. Delicate white stone fruits, chamomile and green flower notes, grapefruit and lime zest. Now made by a female winemaker, the daughter of Regis Minet. This beautiful Sauvignon Blanc is made to freshen your mood and bring some luxury to your day.
$33/btl
Château Jouclary
Cabardés (Languedoc-Roussillon)

Here you'll find a backbone of structure from Cab Franc, a soft plumpness from Merlot, entangled with warmth from old vine Grenache and Syrah. It's an unusual blend, due to the rules in a relatively new appellation: Cabardés, just north of the famed walled city Carcassonne in southern France. Fermented in lined cement vats, it's aged for 12 months. Bold currants give way to notes of earthy anise and cassis, highlighted by a smoky sour cherry, leathery tone on the palate giving way to a crescendo of savory partially dried herbs. This is for the cooling weather.
$15/btl
